Hair Color-For Real

While getting ready this morning with the TV on I heard one of the most renown hairdressers talking about hair color.  I won't name names.  He was giving advice on how to purchase boxed color in a drug store!  I was horrified.  If boxed color was acceptable on any level, we would use it in a salon.  

Boxed color is unpredictable.  The shelf life can change the color from one box to the next.  You also have no control over the developer which can be harsh on the hair.  

There are other options if trying to save money on hair services, but cutting corners on hair color is not one.  There are great products out now that can cover grey temporarily at the hairline and part. This can extend the time between services.    

My piece of advice, don't try this at home!
