Fashionable Idea
Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only.
Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the
way we live, what is happening. Coco Chanel

5 Days Recap
I hope you were inspired this week to create some different looks with your hair. Sometimes a huge change is not necessary in order to give yourself a fresh look!

Day 5
Day 5 is straight and sleek with a far side part. This works for short and long hair. Something as little as going from curly to straight can completely transform a look. Start with applying a heat protectant, I also like to use a drop of oil on the ends. Make a far side part, flat iron and you're done!
Items needed: Flat iron
Heat protectant (I love Davines Melu thermal protecting shield)
Multifunctional oil for protection as well as shine ( I love Davines Oi/Oil)
Pin optional

Day 4
Day 4 is an easy style, it works with both short and long hair. It's a natural look worn with the hair down, but keeps hair out of your face. I start with large hot rollers to give hair fullness and a slight curl. Spray hair with a dry shampoo. Next, I take a part right above the temple to just before the crown. Contain the hair in a clear elastic.
Items needed: Clear hair elastic
Dry Shampoo (I like Oribe Dry Texture)

Day 3
Day 3 is a side braid. I am showing a fishtail-it's so easy. This is best on shoulder length and long hair.
Products needed: 1 hair elastic, I like the clear ones.
I start by parting my hair on the side. I like my hair in curls when doing a side braid. It blends seamlessly with the braid and it also helps to keep the braid together. A fishtail is done in the same way as a traditional braid, but it is sectioned in just 2 parts. Bring a small piece from one side, joining it to the other side. Continue until you reach the desired braid length. You're done!

Day 2
Day 2 is beachy waves. This works for short and long hair alike. Every product line today has a spray salt, or beach spray item in the line. My favorite is Oribe Apres Beach.
Items needed: Beach or salt spray
Starting with towel dried hair, add the product. Take 3 sections on each side of the head and twist the hair. Big sections encourage bigger waves. Let the hair air dry this way. When dry, rake your fingers through and you're done!

Hair x 5
Many of my clients have been asking me for advice on different ways to style their hair. We all can suffer from boredom. Since my clients are too shy to have me take their picture, (you know who you are) I will show a different style each day this week on my hair. Don't panic! They will be easy to replicate...
