Every year I start a new search for the best sunless tanner. This year it's St. Tropez. I love it! I may have a new favorite next year, but this year I love that this has no smell, has a perfect golden color, and dries quickly. I'm happy!
I don't know if the 1974 version of The Great Gatsby can be topped for me, but I am looking forward to the incredible clothes and hair in the 2012 version...

Wayfarer sunglasses by Ray Ban were first manufactured in 1956. They are said to be the best selling sunglass design in history. It's design was to rival the Eames chair and the Cadillac tail fins. Wayfarers were a radical shape for the time and gave an air of dangerousness...
They had a resurgence in the 1980's and now they are back again with a vengeance!

My favorite dress from the Billboard Music Awards was this dress worn by Carrie Underwood. I featured this dress in an earlier post, it is from the Oscar de la Renta runway. It is my favorite dress I've seen all year. I love it! Sadly, I was not fond of the hair from the awards. Maybe next year!

No, not hair, the dress... I have a mullet dress and I have to admit, I absolutely love how it feels casual and dressy at the same time. It did take me a while to get comfortable wearing ANYTHING called a mullet! I'm not a fan of a gown mullet dress and I'm not keen on them if the front is very short and the back is very long. I think it should be more subtle. Mullet hair is business in the front, party in the back but the dress is party in the front, business in the back...
